Central Bucks Regional Police said they were searching for a suspect in the borough around 1:30 p.m. on June 26. A "large police presence" combed over the area bound by North Main Street, Font Hill Drive, East Street, and North Street, they added.

Drivers and pedestrians were advised to avoid the area and were told to expect detours or road closures.

About an hour later, around 2:30 p.m., police said the "activity ... (had) ended."

"The area is safe, roads are open," CBRPD wrote. "Normal activities may resume."

Borough officials said in a statement that there "there are no ongoing public safety concerns."
